The Conscious Company

The Conscious Company sells printed t-shirts and sweatshirts, as well as accessories such as tote bags, with positive message printed on them. Designs are chic and minimalistic, so the positive messages are presented in a fashionable way.

Cheryl and Laura Hooper (a mother-daughter duo) established The Conscious Company in Oxfordshire, UK, in 2017. Cheryl worked with charities for 25 years. Working towards a good cause was always her passion. After Laura completed her bachelor’s degree, she decided she wanted to do something with fashion. She also wanted a career that would make the world a better place. So, she decided to combine fashion and altruism, by forming this brand with her mother.

  • Organic

This brand makes its clothing completely from organic cotton.

  • Vegan

All of its tops are completely vegan. No animal derived materials needed.

  • Cruelty-free

The Conscious Company is PETA approved, so you know it’s cruelty-free.

  • Fair Wear

It is also approved by the Fair Wear Foundation. This means that the employees are treated with respect and have good working conditions.

  • Charitable

A portion of each purchase goes towards the charity of your choice. The Conscious Company provides a list of 10 different charity options to choose from. There’s no wrong choice!

  • Eco-friendly

The Conscious Company only uses organic cotton, which is an eco-friendly material. It is eco-friendly, because it’s free from chemicals and harmful pesticides. This brand also ships all its products in mailing bags made from other eco-friendly materials.

  • Sustainable

The Conscious Company uses the most sustainable and least polluting transportation method as possible. That’s because its goal is to create the smallest carbon footprint. Its eco-friendly mailing bags are sustainable, because they will break down. Most other plastic packaging does not, and instead becomes environmental waste. This line makes their clothing sustainable, because they use high-quality and long-lasting materials. As one of its t-shirts says, “can’t reuse it, refuse it!”
