This is a super easy recipe to enjoy either for breakfast or instead of your afternoon tea. It’s creamy, foamy, sweet, fragrant and soothing. Plus your liver will thank you for this!
Beets are rich in betaine, a substance that will help protect your liver and boost it to get rid of toxins. It’s also rich in potassium, copper, iron, vitamin c, zinc, and calcium.
I’ve never been a fan of beetroot they taste kind of funny but since I discovered freeze dried veggies I am hooked. It’s sweet, fresh and lightly fragrant. Freeze dried fruit and vegetables are basically fresh products cut into pieces and placed in a giant machine that will suck all of the moisture out. So you are left with a very crispy snack.
I simply buy those and blend or ground them until they turn into a fine powder. I would suggest grounding only the amount you need because if it seats for a few days it’s starting to stick together and crumble.
I also used unflavored soy milk but it works with pretty much any plant-based milk. You can try coconut milk for a creamier texture. You can find a super easy DIY recipe for homemade coconut milk using only 2 ingredients!!
An easy recipe for a smooth and creamy beetroot, rose water latte.
- 2 cups soy milk or plant-based milk of choice.
- 2 tbsp beetroot powder.
- 1 tsp rose water (optional)
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar Pinch of Himalayan salt (optional)
In a saucepan, bring your plant-based milk to a boil. Transfer to a mug, add all your remaining ingredients and stir well. I use a milk froater to mix everything smoothly and have a nice foam on top. Enjoy either warm or cold with ice cubes.”
We really hope you liked this recipe as much as we did! Thanks again Loubna.
