At Attitude Organic, we only offer items from brands that care about the wellbeing of animals. So, we make sure that the ways they create and test their products are completely ethical and cruelty-free. No harm to animals occurred in the making of any of the products we sell.
What is a cruelty-free product?
Cruelty-free means the company did not kill or hurt any animals when making their product.
Usually cruelty-free is a label used for beauty and self-care items.
Previously many companies would test their cosmetics out on animals, to make sure it would be safe for humans.
Testing products on animals often causes them pain and even death. Brands that test on animals use such practices as rubbing products in the animals eyes. Animals are often killed and dissected to see how the products affect their bodies.
Today, thankfully, many companies now use more humane ways to test out the safety of their products. Unfortunately, however, animal testing hasn’t been completely phased out yet.
How are our products cruelty-free?
We are careful to make sure that our brands have tested their products humanely. The products we offer have been verified cruelty-free by animal protection organisations such as PETA. These organisations closely keep track of all the companies that do and don’t test on animals.
